Gardening - in my new gardening Levi's
Put them to use immediately, under a boilersuit so no one else knew.
Gardening tools or choice today, electric drill, electric saw, screwdriver, tape measure, hammer (obviously) and a sprit level. If you can zoom in to the level on the corner of the box you may be surprised to see where the little bubble is.
The compost heaps used to be here but they were not working well so they have been moved and I decided to do another raised bed. I don't really need another one but there were some decking planks lying around so I chose to do some DIY
Unfortunately they are all rejects, split, buckled or twisted or just off cuts. This made the construction more complicated, the back panel is made up of six planks, one full length and five others of various sizes. Hopefully all the screws and glue will hold it together. It now needs to be lined and the corners covered with facing wood to hide all the gaps and uneven joins. Then it will be filled, possibly with a mixture of horse poo and grass cuttings and left until next year. Maybe early potatoes.
On totally different subject we had some friends around yesterday lunch time. We were eating outside when suddenly the Red Arrows flew over low in formation. Certainly enhanced a pleasant meal. They flew over again today, I saw them as I was driving locally. Both times would have made a great blip unfortunately the first time I had a knife and fork in my hands, the second time it was a steering wheel. Neither of these are any good for taking pictures.
