Before the Rain

An early morning appointment with the opticians this morning for me (Chris). Despite the recent detached retina we established there has only been a pretty marginal degradation in vision and nothing significant enough to threaten my quality of sight for driving which is really good news. I won't be using the right eye for reading books/screens/phones but that has been the case for the last two years already so nothing new there!

After work, early evening the sky darkened and I nipped out for a photo just in time before the heavens opened for an amazing amount of rain and a dose of thunder. The rest of the evening has been spent polishing up the camera club program for next season.
