Don't mess with me
Friday means it is Para night at the track. Always a great time with a fantastic bunch of young people. The mean looking Tom is really a softy at heart who also happens to be an excellent pilot for Steven. The pilot is the person on the front of a tandem and the rear rider is known as the stoker and this usually means that they are blind. Steven lives in Whyalla which is a large country town 400km north of Adelaide. Steven travels down by bus every Friday to train on the track. These two young men have dedicated themselves to the pursuit of excellence and one day hope to represent Australia at the Commonwealth and Paralympic Games.
It is not often I get away from work for lunch. Its not often I have lunch or take time out in what always seems to be a busy day. Today was different, I had the pleasure of catching up with fellow blippers Paladian and rower2012 for lunch in the Adelaide Central Market. It was real pleasure to meet them and have a chat about photography, blip and training. All talk and no action!
Although we had our cameras, I could only manage was a quick phone pic from the car park
