An impasse

The little girl had a bag of seeds for the ducks. She seemed to want the duck to eat from her hand. The duck wanted the seeds scattered. The ducks are use to humans coming with their little white bags bought at the gardens. An impasse was occurring between the girl and the duck, so I waited. A parent intervened and the duck got scattered seeds. The girl walked away with her remaining food … I assume in search of a more obliging duck. I didn’t wait to see.
