The Mayfair Chippy

I took this picture to wind up a writer friend who lives in Bradford and rails at London prices.  I love that the girl on the right is drinking a glass of champagne with her fish and chips - you go girl.  Took a day off and came into town for a hair appointment. Could only do half of it because my hair cutter was ill.  Brought a beloved jacket up to a specialist dry cleaners that is pricey but is where I go to salvage expensive or very damaged pieces. It was a sunny afternoon and I enjoyed wandering the streets around Mayfair and popping into the odd shop.  Didn’t buy much, a lipstick in Selfridges where I tried a few things on.  I am a Liberty person so not a fan of Selfridges. 

Caught a late afternoon train home and had a lovely dinner with Hannah and V who made delicious pasta alla Norma (the one with aubergines) before watching the first episode of the deliciously crazy Henpocalypse on BBC iplayer.
