2023 Friday — The shoreline

We headed for the sand just before 8:00 this morning. We arrived at the shore to find no people, no dogs, just us four — Mr. Fun, Chloe, Mitzi, and me.

The final Friday morning of August and everybody was somewhere else. It is kelp harvesting season. The pups loved sniffing their way through that stuff and anointing it whenever they got a chance.

The shoreline looked like a salad bowl had exploded; vegetation of all sorts was everywhere. It was a wonderland of things that grow under the water’s surface.
