Flora

Back on the #LeedsBearHunt trail with Flora (artist: Hilary Sanderson) who can be found in the Victoria Arcade.

19yo had headed off to Manchester for the day to meet some friends, so 15yo and I headed into Leeds for a potter about. We started at Leeds Art Gallery where the current temporary exhibits are Sonia Boyce’s Feeling Her Way and one devoted to the circle of Percy Wyndham Lewis, Iris Barry and Helen Saunders. We lunched in the gallery café with Dante’s watchful eyes (extra) bringing out the inferno in the chili hummus sandwiches. 

Then a tour of some shops, finishing at the Corn Exchange (extra). A couple of small press comics from Travelling Man filled out the sensible can opener and tea pot purchases.

The bears are only around until September 9 if you want to catch them.
