Hydro Ness - a twin Archimedes screw driven hydro-electric plant by the River Ness in Inverness. The river was fairly high, and this was the first time I've stopped by, that both of the Archimedes screws/generators were working.
Shifted the 24-200mm 'convenience lens' to another camera for its testing. Was having repeated issues with the electrical contacts not fully making contact, and that's been the case since day one. Cleaned the camera and lens contacts several times. Don't know if it's the camera or the lens, or a combination of both, but there's been no issue with the lens on this camera, so far.
For the above photo, at 24mm and f/8, there was fairly strong purple fringing noticeable around the edges of the holes in the roof that were close to the corner of the frame. That near enough vanished with a click at editing time.
