FLORAL FACES

Back to my new favourite flowers . . . alstroemeria . . . apparently . . . for cutting back the alstroemeria, pull the stems from the plant when harvesting the flowers, rather than cutting them from the base of the plant. When it has died back in the winter months, it can then be tidied up by cutting the stems back to the base. Hmmm . . . there goes my confidence !
