I’d forgotten…

how uninspiring this castle ruin is! Still it was a dull day anyway! Became more interesting and brighter as the day went on but thought I would stick with all that is left of the thirteenth century castle where Edward of England, Hammer of the Scots, spent a night in July 1296!
Can’t believe it’s not even on Google maps, although a garage that was nearby and has been closed fifteen years does appear!
