Crummock Water

Yesterday I was at Lanthwaite Wood (that I have photographed before, but not like the above,) from the 'beach' by the filter beds (weir.)  It was a darkish day to begin with as yesterday's photo showed.  It must happen frequently when rain blocks the background view.
The mood changed as I returned to the carpark when blue sky and white cloud became evident.
