Disappointed Dog in a Rainstorm

Keeping the dog dry,
or trying at least, watching
the rain with concern.

More of a gentle day for a change!  Ben was collected at 10am and I took the dog for a walk, he outran a greyhound type dog (who was not very pleased with him about it!)  We had a nice walk into town and lunch out, which felt very decadent and then wandered back, past the butchers to fetch some things for tomorrow's lunch.  Ben came back at 2pm and we popped to fetch some new trousers from Marks and Spencers, I made some sweet potato bhajis and some chargrilled veg to bulk up last night's take away and stretch it for tonight :-)  Towards teatime the heavens opened and Leo watched with interest, he asked to go out but his request was denied!
