Portencross Castle

Located where the Firth of Clyde ends and the sea begins.

Roofless Portencross Castle has a long and rich history and the rocks around the promontory have claimed many shipwrecks.

This afternoon the castle was closed to visitors while a wedding was held in the Great Hall.
