Hare

Into town this morning to the bank and to check out a light that had come up on the dashboard. I was going to have a bit of a walk but it started raining.
Home and most of the afternoon spent writing letters opposing the Utilities/ Council’s proposal to close the western Thirlmere road. It took ages but the sun emerged late afternoon and I walked round the block hoping to sneak up on the hares that have been cavorting on the field in the late afternoon sun after it’s been harvested.
