238/365 Swallow

I finally put this in the garden after finding it in a box in the house. A present from friends, possibly last Christmas.

We went over to the Great Comberton Flower Show and Fete this afternoon and although it was nice enough I'm afraid that there were a few heavy rain showers to dampen our spirits.

Jayne was born in a cottage in the village and grew up there. No surprise that we bumped into several people that she knew. We also met up with her brother and his family and then one of her sisters came along as well.

In the evening we shared fish and chips from the mobile catering van which calls into our village once a month, on the last Saturday.
