Blowing out the candles

It was a fun filled afternoon of celebration. Four family birthdays and a retirement, a lovely reason for a family get together. Youngest granddaughter will be 5 on Thursday when the family will be celebrating in Cornwall for a few days, as it her dad's birthday just a a few days later. She was very sweet and despite being festooned with gifts she chose to leave them until her birthday to open. I think mum and dad were a little disappointed as they have to carry them all to Cornwall now! They will also be taking the special birthday girl's cake too!
