Lancaster

In my experience, people who work late tend to be people in small companies or people in large companies. (Or teachers.)

Anecdotally, at least, it is true, if only of my clients. So, today, after a fairly busy day at Heathrow, I set off at three o'clock for meeting at seven-thirty. In Lancaster. In a pub.

The drive up was pleasant enough, listening to music, eating peanuts and drinking diet coke, but the trick was switching from travel mode to business head. Thus, I took a quick stroll around Lancaster, which is when I took this picture.
