Sunshine and shadows on the birdbath

Very entertaining watching the visitors drinking or splashing in the birdbath

Usually our hedge sparrows, also visited by the odd pigeon, occasional collared dove, now and then we spot a pair of blue tits, and last week two yellow finches appeared!

We keep it topped up all year round, but keep a particularly watchful eye at this time of year - don't want thirsty birds!
