The watch tower

Packed MrKT off to work for the week and then headed off for a walk on the Pentlands. But I was defeated by rain which swept over the hills as a sat in my car.
So popped off to do my shopping then back along to Penicuik House estate for a walk away from the rain.
The photo is Knightslaw Tower, built for a view of the countryside. It’s not possible to go up inside at the moment but a sign says that they hope to renovate it further so access will be allowed.
Spent the evening baking and prep ahead of tomorrows village fete.
