Visitors

Well, as I said yesterday, today was my much delayed birthday lunch and very lovely it was too.  In the end we shared the occasion with seven dogs (including Hazel, who had a ball).  In the collage from top right is my son, J, below him his ridgeback Duke, then there's Max the German Shepherd who stayed with us last Christmas and finally one of the two very beautiful red setters.  They dashed about a bit in the garden but were surprisingly well behaved.

I felt very lucky.

For those of you to whom it applies, have a good Bank Holiday adventure tomorrow (beyond sitting in traffic, that is) and I hope for all of you the week begins well  xx
