Watering the garden

A quiet morning walking around the park, back for lunch, then a walk along the cycle path for Jacobs nap.

We got the bus up to Rutland square, and Jacob played with his friends at the office before Stephan walked home with us. We tried out the new ice cream parlour in the west end, Affogato, and it was wonderful! The very lovely Italian owner explained all the different flavours, and let me try so many of the flavours before deciding which I wanted. She also spotted Jacob and Stephan outside and insisted I take some out for Jacob to try. Although still unconvinced to begin with, Jacob is now an ice cream lover. I chose salted caramel and hazelnut flavours, and Jacob demanded more tasters of it all the way home!!

We had a lovely play in the garden before bath time, with Jacob helping Stephan water the veg patch. Sadly since going to bed he has been very upset. I slept on the floor with him last night as he couldn't be comforted. Pesky tooth #12 can't come soon enough.

Good news today, Jacob has found his feet again. He has walked all around the flat on his own and seems quite confident. He did this a few weeks ago and then seemed to forget it, so it will be interesting to see if he is happy to walk on his own tomorrow.
