All the fun of the fair.

To Kirkintilloch! They have a rather splendid Canal Festival. Not nearly as big pre-covid but very well attended. And it stayed dry, always a bonus. Lunch at Dnisi at a street table watching the world rock by. The owner even came out and chatted with us. He loves bagpipe music, but then he wasn't from these shores.

The most entertaining thing was watching a 'shared space' junction, a crossroads in the middle of the main street where there are no priorities. Cars, pedestrians, dogs - a free for all, crossing the road, turning left our right, absolute chaos.
