Grayson Perry at the RA
The Royal Academy summer exhibition has started. Its an art sale - there are some super pictures for £50k and a lot of prints for £200. Its like sieving for gold nuggets amongst a load of rubbish (in my opinion). But in the final room there is a display of Grayson Perry tapestries which are a homage to the Rakes Progress. They are hilariously brilliant with lots of subtle comments on modern society.
Its worth going to the summer exhibition just to see these, even if you skip all the rest.
