Cake!

You get to celebrate for a whole year and with people who are important to you.

Carol and I have been friends for over 44 years when her mother, whom I worked with, decided I would be a good influence on her daughter.

We have been very close ever since, we bought a house together when we earned less than £10k. We share in each others joy and sadness. We eat cake together.

One thing we have never done is go on holiday together, but we can change that, I love a plan.
