Brooklyn’s team lost their first game this morning so their tournament play was over. They won the first but lost the second game yesterday. That meant I was free to leave their home after Trek went out one more time. This flower caught my eye after Mass last night so I went by the church and got my blip. Then it was time to shop for last minute groceries including food for Chase while he stays with Millie and a few items Skylar asked me to bring when we stop by her college tomorrow. Hubby rotated our tires, vacuumed the house and other odds and ends this morning. I made cranberry orange bread, pumpkin zucchini bread and a ham and bacon +veggies and cheese breakfast casserole. We should be okay in that department. One of the local Fire Department Auxiliaries had a very timely on line dessert auction that just closed. We will be taking a chocolate cake (hubby’s b-day cake) and a Hawaiian dream cake for our dessert. Our twin neighbors also have birthdays while we are there so now we have them covered as well. Hubby went to pick up our winnings. All that’s left here is a deep clean of the kitchen mess and washing a load of dark clothes. I am taking hubby to a nice Italian restaurant (he chose) later today. Mancil and his girlfriend are joining us. He was chosen to photograph a Brett Young concert at the Marine Museum. His photos will be featured in the article written about it. He is really getting into photography. I think this opportunity as a high school kid is pretty impressive. I’d better go clean so we can leave on time. I might include the cakes, breads and casserole in an extra if time permits. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a pleasant new week.
