Roll up … roll up … the circus is back in town!

Today we succeeded in gathering all our immediate clan, children,grandchildren and their parents/partners for a very special day out.

It began under Gifford’s Circus’ big top for an all age pleasing sell out show on Marlborough Common. (I was involved in helping the establishment of this circus 23 years ago when we last lived in Cheltenham.)

After the circus we headed to a private room in a nearby gastro pub for a celebratory meal. We headed back to the Common for a hilarious family game of cricket with the backdrop of The Big Top and sounds of the appreciative afternoon audience clapping and singing along!

A truly wonderful day none of us will ever forget!
