Enough to share

I took some of my roses to give my sister-in-law today.

Her father is no longer responding to dialysis, and says he's tired and ready to be with his loved ones.

We went to sit with her as she spends time with him, and we were happy to see him sitting up and interacting with us.  He and Al have always gotten along so well, and Vicky has always been there for us when Al wasn't doing well. 

It was a lovely visit,  and if the end comes quickly we will always cherish today, and being able to laugh together before he sleeps.
