The Parrot Canterbury

Oldest pub in Canterbury dating from the 14th century. The interior is utterly charming and there’s a courtyard garden too. A friend recommended it so after a Sainsbury’s shop mainly to buy milk we walked along the river and took in the pub on the way back. Lunch at home (veal chops) beckoned but we plan to pop in one day.
