An outdoor day today. With increasing humidity, storms are forecast this weekend, so best to take advantage of the dry weather. First job was to rescue these daffodils by the back door, where they are continually threatened with being covered by decking.

Then a series of jobs each painful in a new and wonderful way. But hopefully with a good outcome in a few days.

A friend invited me to a fete at a neighbouring village, but with the early start to mumble a sleepy 'bye' to Mr B, and all the work under that punishing sun, I think it'll be an early night for me after a spot of ironing and a nice history programme. Rock and roll.
