Track by the Hawea River

Today 13 walkers met at the car park, and travelled from there to Camphill Road, Hawea.  From there we walked downstream, and then joined the Devon Link Track, which took us towards Hawea Flat.  We had our lunch spread out along the track.  12K steps, or just over 8 k's.

The extras are:  The tunnel on Devon Link track, and (2)  A field of solar panels.  I met a cyclist who told me the electricity is for the water pump and irrigation system on the farm.

We had a welcome cuppa at a local cafe on the way home.  Time to put my feet up!
