This bay is located between Motueka and Kaiteriteri beach, NZ.

The golden sand and rocky outcrops either side embrace the waters of Tasman Bay.

A number of canoes lie on the bank beside the track leading to the car park at the top of the hill above Stephens Bay, but these two are propped on a frame above the sand on the beach.





Thank you for the comments, stars and hearts for yesterday’s tatty monarch. She would have been a fourth generation butterfly from last summer - having over-wintered somewhere nearby so she could return for the life cycle to continue in the coming seasons.
