A Sentinel Hare

It is about a month now this hare has been guarding one of the entrances to Rubislaw Terrace Gardens. This task may have become slightly more onerous following the opening of the marquee of the Number 10 pub. There were only two tables occupied when I passed this afternoon. That is about as many I have seen any time I have been past. I probably do not pass by at the times when they would be busy.

The sun was a bit too low, and the hare is a little lost in the shadows. Maybe he wants to pass unnoticed.
