Geum x intermedium Revisited
A return visit to take a closer look at the Geum x intermedium plants I found growing by the roadside at Manar yesterday. I only identified them back home from the photographs I'd taken (one of which I then posted as my blip for yesterday).
I particularly wanted to see if we could find either of the 'parent' species (Geum urbanum and Geum rivale) growing in the locality. In fact we found neither - but noticed (as can be seen here) that a number of the flowerheads of G. x intermedium were already starting to set seed.
