Timeless in Mono

A timeless view of a strolling ibis along the edge of the local lake. 
The shot looks so much better in Large!!

Breeding is currently in full swing and there are babies galore, the noise is tremendous - lots of honking from the mothers and peep peep peeping from the babies ; )

Here’s a link to info about the ibis in Australia if you’re interested. They are native to Australia but they actually  didnt get to Perth until the 1950’s and I think they must have settled in our little local lake soon after, they’ve really made it their own!!  Of course they’re everywhere these days in all the capital cities of Australia.
