Water

Rain continues all night and day. We are the area with the most rain in Switzerland along with the Swiss Italien part and the Rhine area in the Eastern part.

The river in the Roseg valley reached a new reckord m3 per second water and surpassed the old all time high from 1956 easily. So far no serious damage happened but risk alert level 4 (highest) was communicated this afternoon.

The blip shows the river Inn in Celerina which is normally about 4 to 6 meter wide. Thanks to the „renaturation“ efforts of the last decade the river can now leave his normal river bed and meander through the meadows as planed. Hence the river does not gain speed and seriously damaging force.
