Parachuting Teddies

The culmination of Pershore Plum Festival happened today; the day of teddy fun in the Abbey and the family fun day in the park including classic cars. This shows one of the teddies being dropped off the bell ringing platform ( installed by Gilbert Scott in 1862 details here https://gilbertscott.org/abbey-of-st-edburga-pershore/) by the Sea Cadets. It’s such a fun event and brings in crowds, along with teddy zip wiring :)
I spent time welcoming in the Abbey, R was booking in for tower tours and then I took money in the tea room before returning to the abbey for more welcoming. A long but enjoyable day. Hope Technophobe who I spotted briefly enjoyed it too!
