Ilfracombe carnival

Lovely relaxing day today - we very deliberately took a day off from all the DIY and decided to rest instead.  In the evening we headed down to the town to watch the carnival.  Pretty rubbish and rainy weather to start with, but the sun kept trying to break through - and then it ended up like this :)  Fabulous golden hour, for which we ventured down onto Wildersmouth beach.  I got a couple of nice shots down there, but thought I should use a carnival one as my photo of the day.

Back home for the rest of our chicken curry and a chilled out evening.  Lovely.
