MonoMonday: Timeless

This pocket watch is a family heirloom on my Editor's side, although we don't know to which of her ancestors it belonged and unfortunately it seems there's no-one still alive to inform us. We don't even know how old it is.

Anyway, my Editor kindly suggested it for Loulou164's MM challenge today on the theme of Timeless. Not only does a watch like this have a certain timeless charm, it's also "timeless" in that it no longer works and therefore is unable to tell the time.

We had a walk this morning to the local Rising Sun Country Park. We didn't see much wildlife this time, but there were some fun scarecrows around as you can see in the extra - they must have had a recent scarecrow festival! It seems they were all made by different local groups, mainly children.
