I went to Book Club. The Boys In The Boat was the book and it was good. The discussion was good too. A different time but really some things have not changed. If you aren’t familiar with it, it’s about a group of working class boys at the University of Washington on a rowing team who qualify for the 1936 Olympics in Berlin and against a few odds actually win Gold. Dismayed to learn of the racially motivated killings in Florida.
