The last ear rub

The Blippet (AKA Bonnie) (AKA Zenobia Cool Spice) left us forever today. She had been rapidly deteriorating and this morning couldn’t walk. So, we felt we had no choice but to book a visit from the vet.

Joe came back from Edinburgh so all of us were here in the house to comfort her and see her on her way. When she had passed away, the pug came in (he’d took himself outside when the vet arrived) and snuggled in next to her to say farewell. I think that was the part that hit me the hardest.

Afterwards there were tears and hugs and we looked through some photos of her and talked about some of our favourite memories of our time with her.

Go easy Bonnie, you’ll be missed.
