Bugs galore

The weather has been unfriendly today.  
A group of us were meant to be going out for a sunny brunch, the last of my birthday celebrations. I'd found a 'new to us' cafe with a lovely courtyard to sit out in..... so it rained. We managed to find a space inside but obviously this did not give the warm, sunny aspect we had looked forward to.  Brunch was brilliant and we all agreed we'd go again. We mooched around the village for a bit after the meal before it rained heavier so we decided to call it a day and headed home.
I popped out into the garden and found these aphids all hunkered down underneath a leaf on the cornflowers.  Lots of spider webs too all showing up beautifully in the rain.
