ANOTHER CASUALTY

A group of "injured" cameras queue in the darkness to await attention but unlikely to receive it since they are in the main living beyond their usefulness -- that is, all except the IXUS 100 IS heading the queue. It suffers from bad temper and refuses to unlock the SD card (a common failing it seems) so I seek advice. Do I end it's misery with a hammer or does someone know of a cure?
