Heron

Spotted along the canal.  We had another bus pass walk without buses today!  Drove to walk with a group from Baildon Walkers are welcome, led by fellow chorister B and accompanied by a crowd of lovely folk (including 2 other choristers - they get everywhere).  A walk over the river and canal up to Thackley where we got a look at the old work house then through Buck Woods where the inscription ‘Solvitur Ambulando” can be seen.  Lots of history in the area, a very interesting 5 miles and then the four of us partook o9f refreshments in Baildon.
