Evesham

Yesterday I went to Pershore Plum festival. NickyR asked if the region was famous for its plums . 
Very much so.
The Vale of Evesham in Worcestershire is famous for fruit growing, stone fruit and and soft fruit , apples pears etc  and vegetable growing. The asparagus is the best!
Anyway Royal Worcester bone China Evesham pattern was introduced in 1961 and is no longer made. I think a lot of people have the odd piece of this design in the house.
