All this and heaven too

Walk with a friend and "Sybil" (her trainee gundog) around Hodnet Hall Gardens after work. Great way to wind down after such a busy week. The lakes and gardens are looking particularly stunning at the moment and smelling divine with Rhodies, Azealeas, Wisteria, massive Magnolia trees, and lots of other traditional and rare plantings all bursting forth at once.

Back home late, busy evening preparing for journey down south tomorrow with #1 daughter to stay with #2 daughter and family for the weekend to celebrate Lily's 3rd Birthday on Sunday (Lily is youngest granddaughter of mine). Mr T won't be joining us on this occasion, I've given him a reprieve from a childrens' party in favour of a visit to the Cosford Air show, which he has missed for the last 3 years and is feeling somewhat deprived!!
