Nosey Poker
I'm sure he's a handsome fella, but this is all I've ever seen of him. In fact, I'm not even certain it's a he. But he seems like one. He lives in the back garden of a pub and on hearing the sound of my shopping trolley trundling by he snuffles through the hole in the door and peers at me suspiciously, then moves back for a warning bark before nosey-poking through again.
Today I had my camera on hand to catch him in the act, so his pic won out over a bunch of flower shots, a streetsmart cat that peered lazily at me from the roof of a parked car and a fast moving postman that was out and about before 7,30am.
So that's Saturday done!
Tomorrow I have a date with Brutus the lamb (last Sunday's post). I met him again on the high street yesterday and promised his owner, Jim ("I don't like James") that I would drop off a print of his photo.
