Trees Are Supposed to be Vertical

I was keen to get out fairly early today with it looking like a day of decent weather. I headed up to the moor to Venford reservoir and walked along the path towards Pew Tor. I turned down towards Venford Brook and was soon at the falls. It seemed a much less strenuous way of getting there.

I hadn't looked at the theme for the Wide on Wednesday challenge so I had lots of pictures of waterfalls and then found the theme was 'Tree'. The great thing is that there's a fallen tree across the gorge. I frequently try to avoid it but today I did take a couple of wider shots to include it so that worked out very well.
