Given Scotland's track record in this World Cup qualifying season our son decided to resurrect a memento from a trip to Zagreb last summer, where he saw Croatia beat Ireland 3-1. Wanted to be on the winning side for a change?

The Scotland team, as so often over the past few decades did enough to tantalise us. So I've decided our son from now on has to wear the colours of the opposition. Hope springs eternal!
