Hodder and Ribble.

At this point on the Tolkien Trail the Hodder on the left flows into the Ribble on the right. Tolkien stayed at the nearby Stonyhurst College and the surrounding landscape inspired Lord of the Rings. Extremely wet start, struggled to see where I was going. Better at St Annes. IT issue wasted an hour but watered the plants and scanned some docs. Busy day, busy everywhere, lunchtime queues will be shorter next week. Home to do Tolkien’s Trail or the three fishes as it’s also known locally.
