A brilliant find….

Clarkenwold also known as Hosepipe mentioned that we should go up to Margate as we were due decent weather for a change , I’ll explain, on the last three visits it’s either been dark with bad weather or daylight with bad weather* anyway Clarkenwold joined us for the day as she took some time off to be with us . ANYWAY we went into the famous shell grotto ! It’s a phenomenon… it was discovered by accident in 1835 and no one knows where it came from , it’s a real life mystery.

Then we walked up to Dreamland the mini funfair , it was actually really good fun ! Still has the original wooden rollercoaster . It was lovely and warm so we all sat in deck chairs and had our lunch .
Back to Deal for a coffee and a wander , Angeeeeela who is an old school friend of Po turned up too which was lovely it’s always good to see her , then much later when it was just Zoe , Jake and me we ordered a takeaway and played on the beach , the beach being literally outside our rental front door , when people say a stones throw … I can truly lob a stone and it will land on the beach .
Home tomorrow for a rest !!!
